The Planar® EP Series is a line of professional LCD displays with Ultra-HD resolution (3840 x 2160) that offer the highest reliability in impressive image quality. The displays are available in 50", 58" and 65" and come standard with professional features required for digital signage, corporate and control room environments. For an interactive 4K experience, Planar EP-Series displays are also available in touch versions.

4K/UHD in professional brilliance
With four times the resolution of Full HD, Planar EP Series displays offer lifelike picture quality and an impressive experience. The displays are compatible with both existing Full HD and 4K sources. Planar EP-Series displays can upscale Full HD or Sub-1080 content to fill the entire 4K display area.

Planar EP Series displays combine the visual advantages of 4K resolution with the high reliability required for 24/7 commercial operation. The all-metal housing is also ideal for public areas and offers additional durability and heat dissipation.

Multi-source display
The integrated display processing allows the simultaneous display of several connected sources. Frequently used layouts can be saved and conveniently recalled on command.

"Real" 4K@60Hz
The Planar EP Series supports native 4K resolutions at up to 60 Hz for smooth playback of video sequences or mouse movements. 4K at 60Hz can be connected via DisplayPort 1.2 as well as via HDMI.

Integrated Digital Signage functions
All Planar EP-Series displays come standard with expansion slots that support Intel's Open Pluggable Specification (OPS). This makes them compatible with OPS devices such as media players and PCs. Planar EP-Series displays also allow visual content to be supplemented with audio messages through integrated speakers.
